PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO DARKLUB CONSTITUTION AND BYLAWS

Existing BYLAWS Section 4:  (as amended November 19, 2007)

4.      Dues. A regular yearly assessment of  $20.00 per member prorated for new members that join during the year.  Couples will pay $30.00 for dues.  These assessments are in accordance with the provisions of Article V of the Constitution for the purpose of providing funds for expenses.

Proposed change to Bylaws Section 4:  (Addition underlined)

4.   Dues. A regular yearly assessment of $20.00 per member prorated for new members that join during the year.  Couples will pay $30.00 for dues.  Associate members will pay $10.00 for dues.  An associate member who joins as a full member during the year would receive credit for associate dues paid that year against cost of full membership.  These assessments are in accordance with the provisions of Article V of the Constitution for the purpose of providing funds for expenses.

The Klub constitution, Amendments : Article VII, requires that amendments be submitted in writing at a regular meeting and shall be voted upon at the next following regular meeting providing all members have been noticed by mail of the intent to amend. 

A quorum of one third of current paid membership (presently 41 divided by 3 = 14) is required for the transaction of business (Meetings :  Article IV)

This proposal should be acted on at the February, 2008 meeting, provided a quorum is present.
